SCaT Fair is a progressive initiative for the state. Which is in line with #InnovateSarawak. The fair educates an innumerable amount of people. And, leaves them aware of the educational and career opportunities. As well as funds available for Sarawakians.

The employment opportunities help the youth significantly. It eases their initiatives to find employment in their respective careers. Sarawak has a 3.8 percent rate of unemployment. So, SCaT Fair is held in hopes to mitigates this issue.

Besides that, SCaT Fair is so important for educating students and their parents. It informs them about the various career paths one can pursue in the future. And, makes them aware of the opportunities present for anyone seeking an education or training. Regardless of their financial circumstance.

Hence is why the fair is held around early March. It’s right in time before SPM and SPTM results are announced. Sarawak has some 40,000 SPM and SPTM school leavers annually. So, the state hopes the fair can equip these leavers with apt information. Which will aid them in making the best choice for their future.

Therefore, SCaT Fair is so unique and beneficial for the state and its people. It’s such a commendable initiative by the organizers. Which helps fit the state’s direction industrially and publicly. Hopefully, SCaT Fair will continue to be held and impact on Sarawak.
