In 2016, the dynamic duo of brothers, Spring and Titus Wong founded the company with the “first ever in Malaysia” video bouquet. The brothers blood sweat and tears from months of bootstrapped operations made them profitable at the breakneck pace of 3 months. They credit their success to their amazing mom.
According to Spring, the idea initially came about when he sent his mother a bouquet of flowers with a cute little video message. Seeing how touched his mom was at the act, he decided to open up that happiness to the public with 50Gram. Nowadays their mom works by their side in the office and together they take on the local bouquet market.
50Gram To Go National and Regional
Armed with their seed money they plan on taking on all major cities in Malaysia, which includes expanding to East Malaysia. So, Mirians, Sibu folk and Kuchingites, a revolutionary flower shop comes your way.
And that’s not all. By the the end of 2019 you can expect to see them in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan. This seed funding will help them scale their business within the region.
I’m looking forward to getting their video bouquets for so many occasions. Miri needs ASAP.
